With increasing emphasis on environmental protection and sustainable development of our  downstream customers, GHW has expanded into the Green Products segment, primarily  producing cardanol products. 

Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) is a non-edible natural phenolic mixture. Through physical pressing and separation of cashew nut shells, crude cashew nut shell liquid is obtained, which then undergoes high-temperature decarboxylation refining to produce refined cashew nut shell liquid. The refined product can be sold directly as a commodity or further processed to produce cardanol. It is widely used in fields such as cardanol, phenolic resins, and curing agents.

Cardanol  is a natural product extracted from cashew nutshell liquid and is widely used in coatings,  resins and other fields. It also serves as a bio-based raw material.

Production of cardanol;

Production of friction phenolic resins, which reduce resin costs while improving heat resistance, widely used in friction materials such as automotive and high-speed train brake pads, as well as various motor vehicle brake bands.

Preparing an epoxy resin curing agent;

Preparation of a liquid or powdery thermosetting phenolic resin, a modifier of a phenolic resin and an epoxy resin;

Production of surfactants;

Light-colored cardanol can be used as a new environmentally friendly surface coating.
